A small Middle Atlas town, Azrou is surrounded by one of Morocco’s finest cedar forests, home to wild Barbary macaques.
It lies on the road between Fez and the desert, a few kilometres from Ifrane: an ideal break on the way to Merzouga or during a Middle Atlas day trip.
