In the heart of the Tafilalet, Erfoud is known for its palm groves, its date festival and its fossil workshops, where marine fossils are cut from the region’s black marble.
About an hour from Merzouga and close to Rissani, it is a convenient stop on the way to the desert. We provide rides from Fez, Errachidia, Ouarzazate or Marrakech.
